Relief Kitchen Systems is one of the oldest manufacturer and planner of commercial kitchen, catering & foodservice equipment in India. The Owners of ‘RELIEF’ started their business in the year 1920 in Gujranwala(Now in Pakistan) by the name of M/S RAM LAL BENARASI LAL with expertise in sheet metal fabrication and were a reliable supplier of kitchen equipment and vessels to British Indian Army. 

After Independence M/S RAM LAL BENARASI LAL started manufacturing insulated beverage coolers (ice based)and electric water boilers and stainless steel Tea Urns (thermal jars) under the brand name RELIEF. Initial buyers were beverage soda water factories and later on COCA COLA CORPORATION became major buyer, apart from major industrial houses like Escorts and DCM etc. 

With the arrival of hotels and restaurants and growth of industrial segments in and around Delhi RELIEF made a strong presence in commercial kitchen equipment segment. Now with robust quality of products and effective sales and service setup RELIEF network started growing and saw itself on national map with installations in almost all states and prominent cities of India and large numbers of equipment users in varied segments like hotels, industrial cafeteria, restaurants and food processing industry. With various innovations, inventions and patents of equipment to its credit RELIEF has humbly served the nation and has served clients outside India through exports to Kuwait, Afghanistan, Mauritius, Maldives, USSR and Nepal. 

With trade barriers diminishing RELIEF has established tie up with various international producers of kitchen equipment and offer their products and services to Indian clients. Apart from this various transnational business houses rely upon RELIEF for procurement of equipment for their ventures.
